JIMI HENDRIX - Born Nov. 27, 1942, Seattle, Washington. The Jimi Hendrix Experience was formed in 1966 in England with Noel Redding, bass and Mitch Mitchell, drums. The Jimi Hendrix Experience was defunct by August of 1969. Billy Cox and Buddy Miles joined to form A Band of Gypsies.
